Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Grammy Award-winning Neil Diamond is a phenomenon who has given truly special and personal shows that legions of fans return to see again and again.
The personal and magical interaction Diamond has on stage with an audience is legendary, and international artist Peter Byrne is the same consummate performer as his legend.
In 1997, Peter first created the symphony production show, ‘Hot August Night’ for 25th anniversary of the live album, with a 40- piece orchestra in a sell-out show in front of 4,000 at the Sydney Convention Centre.
Since then, Hot August Night the concert and Classical Diamond has toured all over Australia, New Zealand and his hometown of Dublin, with world-class orchestras, The Sydney International, The Aussie Pops, The Perth Symphony, the Canberra Symphony and the RTE Concert Orchestra in Ireland. Along with his warm sparkling personality and a delightful touch of Irish charm and humour, a ‘cult-like’ band of dedicated fans have provided the nucleus of audiences at all his public appearances.
Damian Mullin
Elvis Presley, also known as the King of Rock and Roll, gained popularity in the 1950s and 60’s with his new wave of music and sound. His songs and dancing pushed the boundaries of the time and gave voice to an entire new generation. Elvis transcended rock and pop music and became an international superstar.
Award-winning artist Damian Mullin’s passion for the music of Elvis is very evident with his love for rock’n’roll, gospel and blues. Damian’s charismatic nature and his realistic voice that echoes the late Elvis Presley, along with his undeniable wit and humour has found him a fiercely loyal fan base all over Australia.
In 2012, Damian won the Australian final of the “Ultimate Elvis Tribute” founded by Elvis Presley Enterprises which catapulted Damian’s career, making him one of the most highly sought after tribute acts.
Since 2010, Damian has been one of the most popular performers at Parkes Elvis Festival and has returned every year since then. Standing a powerful 6’2”, Damian Mullin’s transformation into ‘The King’ is truly remarkable and with designer costumes and replica accessories Damian effortlessly captures the true essence of the great Elvis Presley.
